Ludlow Brewery Concert

"Ludlow Male Voice Choir will kick off its new season of performances with a Summer Concert at Ludlow Brewery on Friday June 28 at 7.45pm

Following sell-out shows at the Brewery in 2022 and 2023, the choir is aiming for a hat-trick of full houses at Ludlow’s liveliest music venue, treating audiences of all ages to an updated repertoire of songs combining established favourites like Rod Stewart’s Sailing, Simon and Garfunkel’s Bridge Over Troubled Water, Do You Hear The People Sing? from Les Miserables and new offerings like The Drinking Song from The Student Prince.

The great tradition linking male voice choirs with Welsh hymns will be celebrated as LMVC perform the beautiful Gwahoddiad, now established as one of the choir’s signature tunes.

The concert at Ludlow Brewery is one of a series of exciting events in LMVC's 2024 calendar, including a debut performance at the prestigious Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod in July.

Led by Musical Director Darren Clarke and accompanied by pianist Jane Hughes, the choir rehearses one evening per week at Ludlow Women’s Centre and is open to new members. Ability to read music is not essential.

Ludlow Male Voice Choir Gala Summer Concert is on Friday June 28 at Ludlow Brewery, starting at 7.45pm

Tickets £10, from Ludlow Brewery 01584 873291."
