St. John's 2nd November

Singing in this church for the first time was a wonderful experience. The acoustics were wonderful and we received a very warm welcome from an enthusiastic audience. We sang the concert in two halves and in the interval ran a raffle in aid of Hands Together Ludlow. There were a number of prizes, even members of the choir were winners, and our grateful thanks to all those that donated prizes. We are proud that we raised the sum of £261 in aid of this local charitable organisation. We were led by our Musical Director, Darren Clarke, and supported by David Gaukroger on the keyboard. David has very kindly stepped in to help us while our regular accompanist, Jane, recovers from a fall. We wish her a speedy recovery.
