Our shop was first established in Ludlow in 1978 by master goldsmith David Benson. He wanted to fill the shop with stunning, high-quality jewellery, watches and gifts whilst making sure every customer felt valued and important.
David also created many Bensons Originals designs, which are still reproduced within our onsite workshop by our talented goldsmith.
Now run by David's daughter Amy, the Bensons of Ludlow shop continues to deliver the highest-quality pieces to our dedicated customers. Known far and wide as the best place for not only your jewellery and gift needs, but for that customer experience that always goes the extra mile, we have found our reputation in Ludlow and the surrounding area only grows positively each year.
Our range of stunning brands enables us to offer a wide selection of pieces to our customers. We are also proud to be one of the first shops in the country to carry a range of diamond and handmade rings and jewellery using Fairtrade gold.
A few years ago, Ludlow Male Voice Choir decided to pose for their annual promotional photograph within the Buttercross building, and our lovely awning was in the shot! This led to them asking if perhaps we might consider being their sponsor, and we were over the moon to agree. Their singing and music, together with their fundraising activities, bring such joy to our small town. And we all need a bit of joy these days!"
